That giant wasp is amazing! I posted a picture of wasp that I found on Tradescantia foliage - I could not tell if he/she was eating or regurgitating something for nest building.

ReplyDeleteI photographed a northern paper wasp doing the same thing just yesterday. Looks like a pollen cluster, but they usually feed their young caterpillars. So I'm not sure - and the adults nectar on flowers.
